About the Truncate Text Lines Tool
The Truncate Text Lines Tool helps you quickly shorten every line of a block of text down to a maximum length — particularly useful for creating previews, fitting text into fixed-width columns, and cleaning up overly long lines in logs or lists.
Rather than truncating the whole block of text as one long string, this tool works line by line — so a long list keeps its structure while each individual line is cut down to size. Any line that gets shortened has "..." appended, making it immediately clear which lines were cut and which were left as-is.
