A Note from the Founder
Dear Investor,
I started building software to solve my own problems. The first was a synchronized video player — and to build it, I needed real-time infrastructure that didn't exist at an accessible price. So I built it myself and gave it away for free.
That became PieSocket. PieSocket became Pie.host.
Over the following years, we expanded from a single real-time product into a full cloud platform — managed databases, application deployment, object storage, caching, and email. Not from a roadmap, but from developers asking for the next missing piece. Today we deliver over a billion realtime messages every day and operate infrastructure for hundreds of companies worldwide, including RedHat, Equiti, and Ingenico.
In 2026, we launched PieLancer — a marketplace connecting businesses with developers, freelancers, and agencies. Because it was the missing piece, and the right direction towards simplying software.
