PieBox

PieBox is a cloud server (VPS) service by PieHost. Launch a fully configured Linux server with a dedicated IP and root SSH access in under 5 minutes.

Getting Started

Create a Server

  1. Go to Dashboard → Click Launch → Select PieBox
  2. Enter a name for your server
  3. Choose a region
  4. Choose an OS image
  5. Choose a server size
  6. Review the monthly cost and confirm payment

Your server launches in under 5 minutes. You'll receive an email with your root credentials once it's ready.

You can reset the root password at any time from the dashboard without contacting support.

15 global regions available at launch:

Choose the region closest to your users or application servers.

OS Images

20+ images available including Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Fedora, and other standard Linux distributions. All images are kept up to date.

Servers launch as a clean OS install. You have full root access to install and configure any software.

Dashboard

From the server dashboard you can:

  • View server specs (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth)
  • Copy the SSH command with one click
  • See your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
  • Power the server on or off
  • Reset the root password
  • Resize to a larger plan
  • Rebuild with a new OS image (keeps the same IP)
  • Delete the server

Networking

Every PieBox includes:

  • Dedicated public IPv4 address
  • Dedicated public IPv6 address

Both are available immediately after launch. Full root access means you can configure your own firewall rules, open ports, and set up any network services you need.

Backups

Automatic scheduled backups are included. Restore to any backup point with a single click from the dashboard.

Pricing

PieBox uses a prepaid monthly model:

  • Payment is collected upfront before the server launches

There is no free tier. You only pay for servers you create.

Resizing: When you resize to a larger plan, the price difference is charged immediately. Your deposit is adjusted if the new monthly cost exceeds the current deposit.

Rebuild

Rebuild lets you wipe your server and reinstall it with any supported OS image — your IP address stays the same. Use this to start fresh without creating a new server.

Go to Server → Rebuild, select the new OS image, and confirm.

All data on the server will be permanently deleted during a rebuild.

Deleting a Server

Go to PieBox Dashboard → Delete. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your security deposit will be refunded. Any data on the server is lost — make sure to back up anything you need first.
