How to Back Pie.host & Better Emails

Another Tuesday, another Pie.host update!

This week’s update is about making Pie.host easier to learn from, easier to trust, and easier to support.

We improved how community content is organised, gave our operational emails a cleaner experience, and launched a place for people who believe in Pie.host to express interest in investing in the company.

What We Shipped

🧩 Multiple versions for Community posts

Community posts can now support multiple versions of the same underlying guide.

For example, instead of treating “Build a realtime chatroom in React” and “Build a realtime chatroom in Vue” as completely unrelated posts, Pie.host can now group them as versions of one guide.

This makes it easier for developers to find the implementation that matches their stack without losing the broader context of the topic.

A developer looking to build realtime chat can start with the same concept, then choose React, Vue, or another supported framework version. 

It also gives us a cleaner way to maintain educational content as we publish more framework-specific tutorials. Rather than duplicating the same guide structure repeatedly, we can keep related implementations connected and easier to discover.

✉️ Polished layouts for reports and notification emails

We refreshed the layouts used for daily reports and other notification emails.

Operational emails are often where teams first notice something important:

• 📈 Usage changes
• 🔔 Account activity
• 📊 Daily reports
• ⚠️ Tasks that need attention

These messages should be quick to scan and clear on any device.

The updated layouts improve structure and readability, making important information easier to find without making the email feel overloaded.

Whether you are checking a daily report in the morning or opening a notification between meetings, the goal is a more reliable and polished experience.

🤝 Introducing the Pie.host investor interest page

We also launched the new /investors page.

If you like what Pie.host is building, you can now submit an investor interest form and tell us a little about yourself.

It is a simple way for people who want to support our work to raise their hand and start a conversation with us.

Pie.host is building trusted realtime infrastructure and developer cloud products, while expanding into tools that make technology easier for teams to use and hire.
