Building the Next Phase of Pie.host

Last updated on March 18th 2026

It’s been a while since we last shared a changelog - and that silence wasn’t accidental. Over the past few months, we’ve been heads down, quietly building the next phase of Pie.host.

During this time, our focus shifted from incremental updates to creating an entire ecosystem of products designed to work seamlessly together. We’re excited to share that PieMail, PieBox, PieBucket, PieCache, PieMongo, and PieGres are all on their way to Pie.host - each built to simplify how developers manage infrastructure and scale their applications.

Some of you might remember that PieBox and PieMail were available earlier in a limited trial. We pulled them back—not because they weren’t working, but because we knew they could be significantly better. We revisited the fundamentals, improved the core architecture, refined the user experience, and strengthened performance across the board.

Now, they’re coming back—more reliable, more powerful, and more thoughtfully designed. And this time, they won’t be alone. They return alongside a new family of sibling products, each solving a specific piece of the modern infrastructure puzzle, but all unified under the Pie.host experience.

This marks a shift for us - from building individual tools to building a cohesive platform.

Going forward, we’re also committing to better communication. We will be publishing a changelog every Tuesday, sharing everything we worked on during the week. This helps us stay transparent, accountable, and more connected with the people we build for - you.

Best regards,
Anand
